My favorite series/movie, mmhm, that's difficult because I don't really watch many of them. Instead, I prefer to read manga and watch anime (I'm an otaku, sorry) but, there's a movie I really like.
"The revenant: el renacido" belongs to the "epic western adventure" genre. It was released in 2015 and got a lot of good reviews from film critics. Also, with this movie, Leonardo DiCaprio won the oscar (finally yisus). Random curious fact: I watched this movie because last year in 12th grade, we had to do an oral exchange of opinions about it in English (lol) and, since then, I love this movie for the reason that represents very well human emotions, especially, anger and rage: how cold both can also be.Now let's talk about the movie. Without going into details, this movie it's about revenge, raw revenge, and how revenge changes us; how we play with our rage and how rage plays with us; how deep we lost in ourselves until we lost us, sometimes, forever. And, finally, what happens to you when you complete your revenge: What's next? What am I suppose to do now? How do I feel? Am I done or empty? Maybe both.
As you can see, I don't want to go into details about the plot of the movie, firstly, because I don't want to give you any spoiler and secondly because this movie it's a movie to watch, not to listen to.
Within this 2 hours 36 minutes film, there's no character who I can consider as my favorite, not because they are "good" or "bad" (in fact, they are really well done and developed) It's just that there is no one with whom I can fully empathize. Nevertheless, I really like the development that has the protagonist, Hugh Glass.
So, yep, that's it :D
PD: When I was writing this, I remembered another movie which I really like too: Interstellar (It made me want to watch it again, so I'll do that).
PD 2: While I was editing this, it made me want to watch both movies again now, agh.
Thanks for reading. Hope you have a great week! See you soon!
