Blog 6: Final blog!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having an excellent afternoon! This year is almost over, so I wish all of you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! :D  This English course is almost over too, and I really enjoyed it, especially the activities and evaluations because the focus wasn't grammar like it always been in my Highschool and practically every single English class that I had. So mainly, for that reason, this course was a breath of fresh air. Also, the blogs were a completely new experience. I've never written a blog before, much less in English, so that was a challenge for me (I hope I got through it) Now, as a kinda new year's goal list:  Things that I need to improve in my English  (na, just kidding but no at the same time). I need to learn more about synonymous and expressions, also be more fluent and natural, and the biggest challenge for me, have a good pronunciation. Maybe you're asking why that could be a challenge. Well, in fact, I have a somewhat bad modul...

Blog 5: Music

Hey Guys, I almost forget to write this blog, lol (u know, rest week). So today I'll write about music. For me, it is difficult to find a favorite artist because I don't usually like songs easily in general. I don't know why that happens, but it's just that my brain says something like: "mmhm, interesting, good bass, rhythm, and vocals, next" hahha Also, I don't even have a favorite music genre. But the most genres that I listen to are, for example, R&B, Rock, Pop, Indie, HipHop, Kpop, Chillout, etc.  Nevertheless , the music genre I dislike the most it's reggaeton. I'm so sorry about it because more than disliking the genre, it's that my neighbors between 2am - 6am play reggaeton loudly almost every single day, so I'm traumatized by it. Leaving traumas aside, the 10 artists/groups that I listened to the most last six months are (according to Spotify): The Neighbourhood, TENDER, Metallica, Los Prisioneros, Agust D, Nirvana, Twenty One P...

Blog 4: My future Job

Hello everyone! Today I'll write about the future, my future job, but first, let me explain to you something. I've always been drawing. Of course, I wasn't like a genius or a super talented kid. It's just that for no reason, I like drawing. So, with time I improved my drawing habilities and, until the last two years, I was looking for art careers to study, nevertheless, without noticed it, a doubt was growing in me, Does Art make me happy? Or do I want something else? To illustrate it better, Imagine yourself driving on a straight road without a destination. You've been driving for hours and, suddenly, not that much far away, you see a detour that also has no destination. But for no reason, you feel that you should take it. Would you take the detour? Or will you continue going straight? I took that detour. So, what I'm trying to say's that this career, Public Administration, has a thing that captives me,  public service.  The idea of working for people and t...

Blog 3: Favorite movie

My favorite series/movie, mmhm, that's difficult because I don't really watch many of them. Instead, I prefer to read manga and watch anime (I'm an otaku, sorry) but, there's a movie I really like. "The revenant: el renacido"  belongs to the "epic western adventure" genre. It was released in 2015 and got a lot of good reviews from film critics. Also, with this movie, Leonardo DiCaprio won the oscar (finally yisus). Random curious fact: I watched this movie because last year in 12th grade, we had to do an oral exchange of opinions about it in English (lol) and, since then, I love this movie for the reason that represents very well human emotions, especially, anger and rage: how cold both can also be. Now let's talk about the movie. Without going into details, this movie it's about revenge, raw revenge, and how revenge changes us; how we play with our rage and how rage plays with us; how deep we lost in ourselves until we lost us, sometimes, fo...

Blog 2: Pets!

Kitties! Omg, I'm so excited 'cause in this blog, I can be myself, which means being a crazy cat lover (sorry not sorry dog lovers). Ok, now let's start by telling you four beautiful short stories, one for each cat I have (yes, I have four little creatures of God).  Summer 2013, I don't remember the date, specifically, but it was a hot sunny day (bc summer duh). My brother had two years old when he went to buy with my granny something I can't remember and when they came back: pum! Kitten (ok, no but kinda yes). What actually happened was my granny noticed that in the street was a lonely small little kitten that touched her heart, she really wanted to bring back home that kitten but she couldn't because in her house were four dogs, and four dogs plus one little kitten equals dead cat. So, she devised an evil plan which consisted of lying to everyone, saying my two years old brother wanted to bring back home that kitten, and it worked. Since that day happened 7 ye...

A country I would like to visit Hello there, today I'm going to write about a country I would like to visit: China. Maybe you are asking why china if in that country the virus started? But let me tell you, Don't you think that because of the virus the flights will be cheaper? Just kidding, I don't even know if that will happen (hope so). Bad jokes aside, for a few years I've wanted to visit China due to this country has a lot (like a lot) different landscapes and environments, even more, it has a culture so distinct from us that at the same time it's so varied in the whole country. It's not the same stay in Pekín, Shangai, or Hong Kong (three big cities with a unique contrast between traditional architecture and modern buildings) that walk through the deep forest in the mountains down a beautiful blue sky, yes, blue sky. In fact, the most polluted cities are concentrated in the north meanwhile the rest of China is pure green, with villages and unique gastronomy....
